UMNO AGM Wanita Umno today warned of a plot involving foreign elements, to topple the government.

As such, the Umno wing urged the government to take stern action against those involved in the plot, Wanita Umno chief Shahrizat Abdul Jalil said.

"It is not an easy job, nor is it popular. But it has to be done to save the country.

"Sacrifices need to be made so the people will continue to enjoy peace and harmony," she said in her policy speech at the Wanita Umno annual general assembly in PWTC.
