'Majority in Umno supreme council wanted Muhyiddin expelled'
FellowMalaysian:
Which Umno supreme council member who attended the meeting last Friday would dare voice his or her displeasure or objection to Muhyiddin Yassin's suspension as deputy president of the party when the agenda of the day was to remove him at all costs?
To refrain from voting would likely be met with ire by the council, while any support for Muhyiddin hanging on to his post as deputy president would possibly cause a confrontation.
So Umno supreme council member Nazri Abdul Aziz must be telling the truth when he disclosed that the agenda of the day was to remove Muhyiddin as the deputy president either through sacking him or suspending him from the post.
Whichever way, it has led to him being labelled as an Umno rebel.
Sabahan: Inside Malaysia, anyone who criticises Najib is either threatened with sedition, sacked from their posts, or silenced with money and/or positions.
Outside Malaysia, Najib critics and accusers are either met with silence or silly lawyers’ letters.
Multi Racial: Both the RM2.6 billion and SRC International scandals directly involved the Umno president. Those party leaders and members who had the courage to ask questions were either sacked, removed or suspended.
So who in the supreme council is the party protecting? Their president at all costs even though what he did could be criminal?
Until today Umno has done next to nothing to conduct an internal investigation on what the Wall Street Journal has claimed.
Since their president claims the RM2.6 billion is a donation for their party, surely the supreme council members would reprimand their president for not bringing this up to them and why the money was not credited into the party’s bank account?
Unless what Umno practises and preaches are two different things. They say nobody is above the law. But now it seems their president is.
What has happened to all the people with courage? To Malaysians, the only way out is to pray for divine intervention, besides the next general election.
RM2.6 Billion Turkey Haram: True, Nazri. We believe what you say. The majority of Umno supreme council members wanted to expel Muhyiddin but the majority of Malaysians wants Najib to resign.
Please tell Najib that support from the Umno supreme council is not the support of the majority of the people. Advise him to go as soon as possible.
Neutral Point: Yes, the majority of the rakyat wants Najib to go. Please pass this message to all the supreme council members.
The supreme council should take note of the rakyat's wishes and ask Najib to step down.
Fair Play: Nazri, if you want to know the truth, here is what I think is likely the truth.
Suppose I am an Umno supreme council member. Would I dare vote against the idea of censuring Muhyiddin knowing the mindset of this Umno president - if you are not for me, then you must be against me?
And it doesn't take an Oxford graduate like Khairy Jamaluddin to know the rules of the game. Just take a look at the casualties of those who are 'against' the premier, or more precisely Najib.
And believe it or not, the right-thinking rakyat only knows it too well. You are an old hand at the game, judging by your ardent support for the incumbent Umno president.
GE14Now!: It looks like the party want to suspend or sack the whistleblower. Just goes to show how dirty this party is. It is a party that claims to be religious but is impious and immoral.
There really is only one thing to do with Umno and that is to get rid of it forever. It talks about wanting to know the truth, but all its members want is to protect their positions. One day it will get its comeuppance.
Peter Kandiah: Nazri, you used to be smart chap. Whatever happened to your solemn oath when you were called to the Bar?
You sound very much like 'king of police reports' Rani Kulup. You ought to join forces with him. Maybe Ali Tinju and Ibrahim Ali will back you too.
Hanandoah: Isn't the post of a deputy president in any organisation is to assist the president? This doesn't make sense.
What if the president keeps breaking the laws of a country? Is the deputy prime minister supposed to help him carry on with his wrongdoing?
Can some legal mind help us to understand what actually is the function of the deputy prime minister?
Factnot Fiction: Are we surprised? This is the fate of an Umno member who dared to do the right thing.
