Muhyiddin reveals offers made by Najib
Speaking in his home state of Johor, sidelined Umno number two Muhyiddin Yassin reveals that Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak offered him the post of Penang governor and PNB chairperson.
This was before he was sacked as deputy prime minister, said Muhyiddin, who also read a poem by Indonesian poet Chairil Anwar, likening himself to an “outcast, feral animal”.
“I declined the offer, because this is about my dignity. If I accepted it, it means I makan dedak (can be bought)....

Save Anwar billboards taken down, jail perks revealed
Billboards in Ampang campaigning for jailed PKR de facto leader Anwar Ibrahim’s freedom are removed by police , although the Selangor government did not receive official notice to do so.
Since his incarceration on Feb 10, 2015, Anwar has received perks like a special diet of low fat milk, honey and dates , a special bed, hot shower and 360 visits, Home Ministry Ahmad Zahid Hamidi says.
