If DAP supremo Lim Kit Siang wants PAS to concentrate only on seats in Kelantan, Terengganu, Kedah and Perlis, then his party should only contest in Penang, says a PAS vice president.

He was responding to Lim's suggestion yesterday that PAS only concentrates on seats in Kelantan, Terengganu, Kedah and Perlis for the coming general election.

“(So) PAS should not be restricted to contest in certain states only. If that is the case, then people can say that you (DAP) are only entitled to contest in Penang.

“That suggestion is illogical. It’s up to PAS where it wants to contest. PAS knows its strength in the places it contests in,” PAS vice-president Idris Ahmad told Malaysiakini today.
