Sungai Besar Umno division chief Jamal Md Yunos has denied accusations that he had received favourable treatment from the federal government in the award of approved permits (AP) to import vehicles.

Responding to the accusations made by Segambut MP Lim Lip Eng earlier today, Jamal said his company, IBM Automobiles Sdn Bhd, was among the lowest AP recipients.

"Compared to 97 other companies, ours received the least (amount of AP). You can check with the Ministry of International Trade and Industry."
