The woman described as "the wife of Malaysian Official 1" by the US Department of Justice (DOJ) should emulate Hollywood actor Leonardo DiCaprio and surrender the diamond gifts she received, which were allegedly acquired using funds stolen from 1MDB.

This is according to Parti Amanah Negara deputy youth chief Faiz Fadzil, who pointed out that in previous corruption cases, the authorities had moved to seize such items.

"It is the normal procedure as seen in cases by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) which confiscated luxury goods belonging to the former Johor exco and Sabah Water Department officials recently," he said in a statement today.
