No entry for foreign 'gay party' revellers, says immigration chief

The immigration department has vowed to deny entry to participants and organisers of a purported "gay festival" that is supposed to take place in Kuala Lumpur on Sept 30.

Director-general Mustafar Ali said his department will work together with other enforcement authorities to identify such individuals.

"If they are individuals who try to enter the country, they will be served a Not to Land (NTL) notice under Section 8 of the Immigration Act 1959.

"The immigration department will not compromise with anyone who tries to introduce activities which are unhealthy, immoral and threaten public safety, security and sovereignty," he said in a statement...
