Signs of a Malay tsunami?

The bumper crowd at a Pakatan Harapan ceramah in Dr Mahathir Mohamad's home-state of Kedah on Thursday night has led DAP strategist Liew Chin Tong to once again urge Malaysia to brace for a "Malay tsunami".

Communications and Multimedia Minister Salleh Said Keruak, however, warned his opposition counterparts not to count their chickens before they hatched because past experience has shown that crowd numbers don't always translate into votes.

A straw poll of Chinese voters in Kepong, Kuala Lumpur showed that many do not recognise any Pakatan Harapan component party logo other than DAP's.
