PAS president Abdul Hadi Awang's suit against Sarawak Report editor Clare Rewcastle-Brown in London will be heard in April next year.
In a statement by Sarawak Report, the website denied claims that the suit had already been won by Hadi.
"If supporters of PAS are claiming that 'Hadi has won' any aspect of the case, their leader needs to understand that the fun has only just begun.
"So far, he has won nothing except a guaranteed full trial that will examine every detail of PAS' relationship with Umno between now and April next year," said the website.
The website said that Rewcastle-Brown had applied to revise its defence in light of new evidence and was ordered to pay £40,000 (RM215,867) in cost to Hadi's legal team for this.
Meanwhile, Hadi's lawyer Wan Rohimi Wan Daud has claimed initial victory by announcing that his client had won all five interlocutory applications against Rewcastle-Brown.
"Sarawak Report has been ordered to pay costs of £28,900 (RM156,017)," he said in a Facebook post.
Wan Rohimi has yet to respond to a request for further comment.
It is understood that Hadi will hold a press conference in Marang, Terengganu this afternoon to share further details.
Hadi has filed a defamation suit against Rewcastle-Brown in the UK over an article which suggested that PAS received RM90 million from (now caretaker) Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak.
