Former Malaysian External Intelligence Organisation (MEIO) chief Hasanah Abdul Hamid was arrested by the MACC today for allegedly misappropriating election funds.

Sources close to the case told Malaysiakini that Hasanah is being investigated over the missing money amounting to millions of ringgit.
