Stop the hypocrisy, Mahathir told on Israeli athlete ban

Gerakan has called into question Israeli athletes being barred from competing on Malaysian soil, a move which it described as "shortsighted."

Baljit Singh, the party's vice-president, told Malaysiakini today that Putrajaya was exhibiting a "disgusting" level of hypocrisy and selective persecution, as there are instances where discrimination is allowed in this country.

"What if other countries ban Malaysia or isolate its performers, artists and athletes for practising discrimination against others...
