No more politicians as heads of foreign missions or GLCs: PM

The Pakatan Harapan government has taken steps to ensure that politicians are not appointed to head government-linked companies (GLCs) or foreign missions, Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad said today.

“On the government’s part, we have undertaken measures to ensure that there are no more active politicians appointed as Malaysian head of mission and in any listed GLC,” he said in his speech at the Invest Malaysia 2019 conference in the capital today.
