Shuhaily pleads not guilty to injuring Special Branch officers
Malaysian Border Control and Protection Agency (MCBA) director-general Shuhaily Zain was charged at the Sepang Magistrate's Court this morning with voluntarily causing hurt to two Special Branch police officers at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) on Sept 28.
He was hit with two separate charges, both under Section 323 of the Penal Code.

Shuhaily, standing composed near the dock, pleaded not guilty to the charges before magistrate Khairatul Animah Jelani.

"Causing hurt to "TWO Special Branch" police officers at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA)"..... Can't 'imagine' causing hurt to TWO Special Branch and they "allow" it.
What is happening to this country? An upright law enforcement officer is being charged for pulling someone's ear? He was trying to get a message across, not cause harm. Was anyone actually injured, apart from a bruised ego? Officers endure far tougher drills and challenges during training and throughout their careers. This prosecution is both baffling and shameful. I stand with Shuhaily.
