The retail prices of RON95 and RON97 petrol as well as diesel for the week of April 6 to 12 remain at RM2.08, RM2.63 and RM2.18 per litre, respectively, according to the Finance Ministry.

Without government subsidy, the retail prices of RON95 petrol and diesel for the period should be RM2.33 and RM2.36 per litre, respectively, it said.

"This is in line with the decision of the government to stabilise the retail prices of petroleum products and reduce the cost of living of the people,” the statement said.
