Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) linked taxi driver V Balamurugan may still proceed with legal action to delist the defunct militant organisation as a terrorist organisation, his lawyer revealed.

Counsel Omar Kutty revealed this to Malaysiakini today, despite Attorney-General Tommy Thomas this afternoon announcing that the Attorney-General’s Chambers (AGC) has discontinued all LTTE-linked terrorism proceedings against Balamurugan and 11 others with immediate effect.
