CORONAVIRUS | Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin will be addressing the nation in a special address at 4pm today.
The address comes as the movement control order is set to end next Tuesday.
The Health Ministry has said it would provide data today, on whether the order should be extended.
Selangor police yesterday said that it is likely that an extension will happen.
Meanwhile, Defence Minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob will still have his usual press conference today at 2pm as usual.
The MCO was first imposed almost a month ago on March 18. It was supposed to end on March 30 but was extended by two weeks.
The order is meant to curb the spread of Covid-19.
Ismail had previously said that the government would be discussing an SOP about enforcement in the various infection zones.
He had previously hinted that life in the red zone, an area which has more than 41 Covid-19 infections, may be vastly different than life in a green zone with no infections.
If the order is not extended, there may still be restrictions as part of a post-MCO guideline.
As of yesterday, there were 4,228 total infections with 67 deaths and 1,608 people have already recovered.
