YOURSAY | 'About time those who betray voters' trust are sacked'

YOURSAY | 'These politicians should be blacklisted by the public to stop future 'frogs'…'

PKR sacks four Azmin-linked leaders

PKR confirms sacking Haniza and four others, issues warning to Tian Chua

YellowCobra0968: Good job, PKR. Be firm. Chop away the traitors and seat warmers. It may be painful and tough, but it is worth the pruning to have better branches and a stronger tree.

And please, don’t let that old gardener anywhere near your garden. As you have learned the hard way, he cannot be trusted. He is a selfish gardener who may destroy not just your garden, but your neighbours’ gardens too.

Bobby0: Well, they (the traitors) still have over two years with which to enjoy their perks and benefits in public office. In the next election, however, their actions must not be forgotten.

Not only them, but all the other grasshoppers and frogs. Their names should be compiled into a list and distributed to all voters. This way, the voters will know that these unfaithful politicians may hop at any time to other parties or coalitions.

These politicians should be blacklisted by the public to stop future frogs from deceiving their voters.

Thickskin: Yes, very good move. The voting public wants all these traitors to be sacked so that they can vote for honest politicians from Pakatan Harapan, whose aim in getting elected is to serve the people and not to get rich through corruption.

Mr Trump 666: Although I like sacked PKR Women’s chief Haniza Talha, party survival is more important than any individual. Sacking her was the right thing to do.

Next, let's work towards capturing Putrajaya, with or without DAP and Amanah. Bersatu will be history. Don't have to worry too much about them. Keep the spirit of 'reformasi' alive.

Undecided: All these leaders, including former PKR deputy president Azmin Ali, rode on PKR president Anwar Ibrahim's name but felt they had no responsibility to unite and mentor the younger leaders in PKR.

Azmin always seems to be using his mentors to further his own ambition and Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin better watch his back, otherwise, he will suffer the same fate as Anwar and former prime minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad.

OrangeCheetah9224: This is the best time for people to join PKR, when the opportunistic frogs are jumping towards Perikatan Nasional (PN).

The Segamat, Ampang, Gombak, Nibong Tebal, Seberang Jaya and Teluk Bahang seats are all for grabs. Those traitors will lose hands down.

Anonymous_002820872000: Bravo, every PKR supporter is patting their own backs. Talk about being in denial.

Those who have been in charge of running a team, department, or a company, big or small, will know that you cannot just get rid of the ones who do not see eye to eye with you.

You actually only need to get rid of the non-performers, retrain those who exhibit some potential, and cultivate a positive work culture, so that you can recruit more and better quality new employees.

So, Anwar, what is the culture of PKR? What is your brand equity? Does PKR even have a mission statement? 'Reformasi' is just a slick marketing jingle, a guise for one man's obsession to be PM.

BlueShark1548: Is there any reason why Anwar did not dare to take action against Azmin way before the Sheraton move?

I understand if Anwar could not take action when he was in prison because he depended on Azmin to get him out. But, after his release, why no action?

Is it because Azmin’s faction swept up most of the positions in the party elections? Why did it take Anwar so long to take action? Is he not decisive?

Or did he not know what to do and hoped he could still get the numbers required to negotiate for prime ministership?

Pokokelapa: No need to sack anyone. PKR should just 'tutup kedai' (close shop). What is the use of having an unstable political party?

The leader cannot even stabilise his own party, but he wants to be the PM. PKR should just disband, unless the likes of Permatang Pauh MP Nurul Izzah Anwar can take over the party and reform it - a Reformasi 2.0 that is much needed.

Talon: @Pokokelapa, it’s time for Anwar to look at the bigger picture. He has contributed enormously to the nation. We, the people, acknowledge that. Thank you, sir! But it is time for the old generation, the Mahathir-Anwar combo, to move on.

Sabah Chief Minister Mohd Shafie Apdal is a good choice for the PM post. A change will bring an end to the toxic politics of race and religion that is being practised now. Sabahans can accept all races and religions.

Hence, appointing Shafie will be a step in the right direction for the nation. Nurul Izzah and former Kedah menteri besar Mukhriz Mahathir should be appointed as deputy PMs.

Are we brave enough to appoint a non-Malay MP from DAP as the third DPM? The decision is left to you, Harapan.

Ferdtan: Instead of the harsh punishment of being sacked, the three supporters of the pro-Azmin cartel were issued warnings by the PKR central leadership council. This was clearly done to give them a chance to save their political lives.

These three - Tian Chua, Machap Jaya state assemblyperson Ginie Lim, and PKR Penang Wanita communication chief Carolyn Khor - all they have to do is to publicly disown and apologise for their past mistakes in supporting Azmin to overthrow the Harapan government.

They also need to pledge their support to the party that is under its president Anwar at present. Can they do that? In politics, there are no permanent enemies, no permanent friends, only permanent interests (of self-preservation).

If they still cannot, or refuse, to swear loyalty to the party, instead of stubbornly sticking with a party traitor, then it is time to get rid of them. Period.
