PKR sacks four Azmin-linked leaders
PKR has sacked four leaders linked to former deputy president Azmin Ali.
They were PKR Women's chief Haniza Talha, Penang women's chief Nur Zarina Zakaria, and two Penang assemblypersons Dr Afif Bahardin (Seberang Jaya) as well as Zulkifli Ibrahim (Sungai Acheh).

PKR has sacked four leaders linked to former deputy president Azmin Ali.
They were PKR Women's chief Haniza Talha, Penang women's chief Nur Zarina Zakaria, and two Penang assemblypersons Dr Afif Bahardin (Seberang Jaya) as well as Zulkifli Ibrahim (Sungai Acheh).
The decision was made by PKR's central leadership council during their meeting today. This was confirmed to Malaysiakini by leaders who attended the meeting.
Haniza and Afif were both suspended by the party in May.
Haniza, who is also Selangor's Lembah Jaya assemblyperson, had since formed a non-governmental organisation (NGO) called Nation of Women, which had received backing from other women leaders aligned to Azmin's camp.
Afif, meanwhile, heads the Pemuda Negara youth NGO. Both these NGOs were believed to be precursors for the women and youth wings of a Parti Negara to be established by Azmin.
Afif also declared recently that he would be sitting as a Bersatu representative in the Penang state assembly.
As for Zulkifli, he was recently spotted at a meeting Afif had with leaders from Umno and PAS.
When contacted, the Sungai Acheh lawmaker said he had not received an official confirmation that he had been sacked.
"If it's true, I did not expect they would do it without stating why," he told Malaysiakini, adding that he would not file an appeal.
Haniza, who said she also did not receive an official notice, expressed her disappointment in how the party reached the decision to sack her.
"There was no hearing process. I, the accused, was not given a chance to give a statement and respond," she said when contacted.
She added that PKR was no longer upholding justice, but was acting on emotions and vengeance.
Azmin and 10 others defected from PKR in February to align themselves with Perikatan Nasional, causing the collapse of the Pakatan Harapan government.
