PN pow-wow reiterates backing for Muhyiddin, to strengthen cooperation
A meeting of top Perikatan Nasional leaders today reiterated their backing of Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin.
They also resolved to strengthen cooperation but no mention was made about formalising the coalition.

The Bersatu president said the leaders met in Putrajaya this evening.
"All leaders expressed support for Muhyiddin (me) and are in consensus to strengthen understanding and cooperation for the sake of political stability, the people's well-being and the country's prosperity," Muhyiddin said in a statement on Facebook.
Apart from Muhyiddin, the leaders in attendance were Umno president Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, PAS president Abdul Hadi Awang, MCA president Wee Ka Siong, MIC president S Vigneswaran, PBB president Abang Johari Openg, SUPP president Sim Kui Hian, PDP president Tiong King Sing, PRS president James Masing, PBRS president Joseph Kurup and STAR president Jeffrey Kitingan.
Also present were PN government whip Azmin Ali and Bersatu secretary-general Hamzah Zainuddin.
PBB, SUPP, PDP and PRS are part of the Sarawak-based GPS coalition while Umno, MCA, MIC and PBRS are part of BN.
Umno also has an alliance with PAS under the Muafakat Nasional banner.
Prior to the meeting today, Muafakat Nasional and Bersatu had a separate meeting last night on formalising PN but have yet to arrive at a final decision.
The PN government came into power after the collapse of the Pakatan Harapan government in late February following Muhyiddin's move to pull his party out of the coalition.
Muhyiddin was sworn in as the new prime minister on March 1 after putting together a new coalition comprising Bersatu, PKR defectors, BN, PAS, GPS, PBS and STAR.
How can this ragtag grouping of self-seekers turn into a cohesive political force when one is a party of racist kleptocrats, another a party of Islamic fundamentalists and yet another a party made up of turncoats freshly defected from other parties?" It is a sad truth that other than a small percentage of Malay brothers and sisters, who understand that these scums are only helping themselves ??, many of them still feel that meritocracy doesn't matter. Put any crooks of the same colour there to safeguarding their so called birth rights matter most. In actual fact, until now they only receive bread crumbs and becoming leeches to these scums. Look at all the righteous professionals Muslims, one by one, they had to resign and their seats are filled by 'yes man' of the scums. MALAYSIA will be worst than before GE14, with thieves, religion sesat and frogs hopping around.
