Hajiji receives invite from governor for swearing-in ceremony
Sabah chief minister-designate Hajiji Noor met Sabah governor Juhar Mahiruddin today to receive an invitation to attend the swearing-in ceremony.
According to Bernama, Hajiji received the letter from Juhar personally at the Istana Negeri, Kota Kinabalu at 4pm today.

Immediately following the short ceremony, Hajiji had to undergo a rehearsal for the swearing-in which will take place at 10am tomorrow.
Hajiji, 65, will be Sabah's 16th chief minister after the Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) alliance emerged victorious during the Sabah state elections on Saturday.
Just two months ago, Hajiji was not even in the running when then Sungai Sibuga assemblyperson Musa Aman attempted to oust Mohd Shafie Apdal as the chief minister.
GRS agreed on nominating Hajiji for the position after two days of intense negotiations.
Hajiji has represented the Sulaman constituency since 1990.
He was formerly a United Sabah National Organisation member before joining Umno. He left Umno in 2019 to join Bersatu.
