Four new Covid-19 cases in Sabah today were detected through screening tests conducted at the state’s borders and ports of embarkation, says Sabah Local Government and Housing Minister Masidi Manjun.
Masidi, who is also the state’s official spokesperson on Covid-19-related matters said the cases involved two Malaysian citizens and two foreign nationals.
"The individuals involved intended to leave for either Peninsular Malaysia or the Federal Territory of Labuan," he said in a statement tonight.
Masidi said of the 249 positive Covid-19 cases recorded in Sabah today, 149 cases were from close contact screenings, 47 through symptomatic screenings, 13 from self-screenings, and the remainder from other categories of screening.
