COVID-19 | The Health Ministry today reported 15,549 new Covid-19 cases.

Daily case count in the Klang Valley (2,408) has remained below that of Sarawak (2,929) for four days.

The R-naught for the country is now 0.95. The figure has been below 1.00 since Sept 1. A R-naught of less than 1.00 suggests that the spread of Covid-19 was slowing down.

The only states where the R-naught is more than 1.00 are Johor, Pahang, Perak, Terengganu and Sarawak.

The number of patients requiring intensive care or ventilators continues to ease.
