Only 51 cases (5.2 percent) of 984 Adverse Event Following Immunisation (AEFI) cases for Covid-19 vaccine booster shots were classified as serious as of Jan 20.

Health Ministry director-general Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said the National Pharmaceutical Regulatory Agency (NPRA)'s AEFI Division received 24,111 AEFI reports, including 984 reports involving booster doses.
