Umno 'Top 5' meeting on GE15 date pushed to Sept 30
The Umno supreme council special meeting initially scheduled for this Saturday has been postponed to the end of the month on Friday, Sept 30.
Umno secretary-general Ahmad Maslan said the Sept 30 meeting would be a full supreme council meeting.

“The prime minister is involved with officiating the Malaysia Games (Sukma) at UKM Bangi that night (Saturday),” he said in a statement today.
Ahmad added that the Umno leadership are also invited to attend the launch of the BN Youth machinery, which starts at 2pm this Saturday at the Titiwangsa Stadium in Kuala Lumpur.
Prime Minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob said on Sept 14 that the meeting of Umno’s top five leaders, which was set for this Saturday, had been postponed.
However, at the time, he said he did not know the reason for the postponement nor when it would be held next.
The meeting among Umno’s top five leaders is expected to be to discuss the date for the 15th general election.
