Kelantan Bersatu’s candidates for the upcoming parliamentary election will use the PAS logo at the polls.

This will involve two Bersatu members - Mustapa Mohamed (Jeli) and Ikmal Hisham Abdul Aziz (Tanah Merah).

Bersatu president Muhyiddin Yassin confirmed this at a Perikatan Nasional (PN) rally at the Stadium Sultan Muhammad IV in Kota Bharu, Kelantan last night.

“During our latest (PN) meeting, we said we can use the PAS symbol in Kelantan.

“That will guarantee us victory,” he said.

Mustapa and Ikmal Hisham won their seats in the 2018 general election while on a BN ticket.

Although it is part of the PN coalition, PAS has decided it will use its own logo in Kedah, Terengganu, and Kelantan - states that the party controls.

Meanwhile, Muhyiddin urged voters in Kelantan to back PN to avoid a repeat of the damage caused by BN.

“Umno has caused many problems through its wrongdoings, misappropriation and its ‘court cluster’.

“Do we want to hand over our country to this evil group?” asked the former prime minister.

There are 14 parliamentary seats in Kelantan. During the last general election, Umno won five seats while PAS won nine.
