Kula Segaran: Look at the bigger picture and back Anwar
Acknowledging concerns from the people over his exclusion from the cabinet, Kula Segaran explained it was needed for the country at the moment.
DAP vice-chairperson M Kula Segaran urged his supporters to “look at the bigger picture” in regard to him being omitted from Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim’s cabinet.
Acknowledging concerns from the people over his exclusion from the cabinet, Kula Segaran (above) explained it was needed for the country at the moment.
“It is a cabinet that has the support of all Pakatan Harapan component parties.
“It is also a cabinet that is aimed at mending the division prevalent among the people and uniting us once again with a common goal.
“And this common goal is to rebuild this nation after what it has been through over the last two years,” the Ipoh Barat MP stated.
Kula Segaran also reminded the people that today’s administration does not only belong to Harapan but a unity government.

“They need to understand what that means and entails.
“Therefore, I urge everyone to get behind Anwar and his cabinet.
“Please be patient as correcting what is rotten and ailing (the country) takes time and support from all of us. Nevertheless, we are on the right track again,” he stressed.
In addition, Kula Segaran also urged the people to offer their full support to his party colleague, V Sivakumar, who was appointed as the new human resources minister.
For the record, Kula Segaran held the post under the previous Harapan government.
“Sivakumar has vast political experience and the capability to drive the ministry forward.
“If required, our entire team and I are always there to lend a helping hand to him.”

On Friday, Anwar unveiled his cabinet which comprised 28 ministers.
Harapan has 15 ministers in the announced cabinet list, with eight from PKR, four from DAP, two from Amanah, and one from Upko.
Meanwhile, six other ministers are from BN, all of whom are from Umno, while GPS has five ministers. GRS has one minister in the cabinet.
One more minister - that is the Religious Affairs Minister Mohd Na’im Mokhtar - is not affiliated with any political parties. He is currently the Chief Judge of the Syariah Judiciary Department.
