The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) has issued an alert regarding continuous rain that is expected in Terengganu and Kelantan from Wednesday to Friday (Dec 7-9).

It said in a statement today that continuous heavy rain was expected to occur in Terengganu and several districts in Kelantan, namely Tumpat, Pasir Mas, Kota Bharu, Jeli, Tanah Merah, Bachok, Machang, Pasir Puteh, and Kuala Krai.

An “alert-level continuous rain warning” is issued when there are signs that rain and thunderstorms are happening or expected to occur for more than six hours during a period in certain areas.
