Four more bodies were found at the landslide site at the Father’s Organic Farm in Hulu Selangor today, bringing the death toll to 30, according to the National Disaster Management Agency (Nadma).

The four bodies were found at Sector C (riverside) of the search site. This is believed to include a body that was discovered at 10.30am, as police reported.

Hulu Selangor police chief Suffian Abdullah confirmed the recovery of the latest remains, which according to Sinar Harian, were of two girls, a man, and a woman.

Search and rescue operations are now on their seventh day at the site.

Bernama reported that the operation was halted around 10pm yesterday and resumed this morning.

The landslide, which occurred last Friday, cascaded on those camped at the Father’s Organic Farm campsite in Gohtong Jaya, close to Batang Kali. A total of 94 persons were impacted. Sixty-one of those people were saved.

The search is still ongoing for the remaining three missing victims.

A full statement is expected to be issued by the authorities later.
