The wing’s chief Adam Adli Abdul Halim said the gathering would be held after Friday prayers at Surau Tabung Haji along Jalan Tun Razak in Kuala Lumpur.
The Hang Tuah MP, who is also deputy youth and sports minister, said the event is open to all, including those from the opposition.
“We invite Malaysians to come together to express support for the Palestinians who are being oppressed.
“We are open to all (including those from the opposition),” he told a press conference at the Parliament lobby this afternoon.
Adam (above) urged the international community and human rights organisations to be fair with regard to the ongoing conflict which has claimed hundreds of lives.
He said the root causes must be identified instead of pointing the finger at the Palestinians, who are fighting for the liberation of their homeland.
“Malaysian youths urge all nations to reject efforts to normalise diplomatic relations with Israel which indirectly de-legitimises Palestine as an oppressed independent state,” he added.
Humanitarian aid
On the same note, Adam called on the Malaysian government to channel humanitarian aid and medical supplies to the Palestinians.
“We urge the United Nations Security Council to act immediately to end the Zionist regime’s occupation of Palestinian territories,” he added.
Yesterday, Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim, who is also PKR president, said Malaysia remained in solidarity with the struggles of the Palestinian people.
He said the international community has continued to take one-sided actions regarding all forms of cruelty and oppression against the Palestinians.
“The confiscation of land and property belonging to the Palestinians is done relentlessly by the Zionists. As a result of this injustice, hundreds of innocent lives were sacrificed,” he added.

It is indeed a cruel world. We have people here congratulating the aggressor for killing ,kidnapping innocent men ,women ,and children who do not care if you are a Jew or a Palestinian ,and simply living their lives in peace. What wrong did they do to deserve this from these terrorists.
