Ahead of tonight's 2023 Malaysia Cup Final match, Stadium Corporation of Malaysia (PSM) board of directors chairperson Hans Isaac continues to receive criticisms following the condition of the Bukit Jalil National Stadium field.

Most recently, Umno Youth Chief Akmal Saleh took a jab at Hans, a PKR member, after his admission that PSM could not ensure the field was in good condition for the Johor Darul Ta’zim (JDT) versus Terengganu FC match tonight.

"Enough is enough. Hans Isaac, you don't deserve this seat!

"This is not a movie where you can act as a hero," said Akmal referring to the artist's career background.

Akmal (above, left) said this when commenting on PSM's apology for not having enough time to repair the field after the Coldplay concert on Nov 22.

Defending champions JDT will be challenged by Terengganu FC in a bid for the most prestigious trophy in Malaysia.

Starting this year, the field uses new world-class Zeon Zoysia grass sponsored by the Crown Prince of Johor Tunku Ismail Sultan Ibrahim who is also the owner of JDT.

'You should listen to people'

Meanwhile, writing on social media, Akmal said Hans should listen to the views of experienced parties.

"When you get a responsibility that is outside your field, the important thing is to hear from (more) experienced people.

"Listen to advice from the subordinates to the superiors before making a decision.

"Not that you get a position, and then become stubborn because you think you’re all that," said Akmal.
