On June 24, Sivakumar asked the prime minister about the expenditure of the Malaysian Indian Transformation Unit (Mitra) funds for last year, the amount of Mitra funds that have been spent this year and the high-impact economic development plans for the Indian community.
Elaborating, the prime minister said as of June, Mitra had planned four programmes, costing an estimated RM40 million and targeting 15,300 people.

Hello PMx, you still think that Indians are monkeys and can just satisfied by throwing peanuts. Have you looked at the % of Indians in the civil service and how many of us are discriminately badly, no promotions and position. No Indians can be the Dean or Head of Department in any our so-called Research Universities. Many of us are not offered Professor despite exceeding the requirements. Stop talking nonsense. If you really not wiling or cannot help the Indians, please keep quiet. Do not irritate us further.
