The proposal to streamline several government agencies to address the issue of overlapping functions will be presented at the cabinet meeting soon, said Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim.

Anwar, who is also the finance minister, said the matter needed to be brought to the attention of the cabinet first before a decision can be made.
