Able Global Bhd confirms that its CEO Edward Goh Swee Wang and chairperson Ng Keng Hoe have been released from MACC remand.

Goh and Ng are also the executive directors of the company.

Able Global said in a statement today that Goh’s recent remand by MACC was to assist in the graftbuster’s ongoing investigation of matters related to Ng’s private company affairs.

“The company reiterates that its CEO was remanded solely to facilitate the investigation and is not in a position to comment on the ongoing investigation.

“He has since resumed his duties and business operations of the company continue as usual,” said the dairy manufacturer and tin can maker.

Able Global said it remains committed to upholding the highest standards of corporate governance and transparency.

The counter closed unchanged at RM1.51 today on Bursa Malaysia with 1.28 million shares traded.
