“We call upon Pakistan to take appropriate steps to address these violations and deal with the situation with seriousness and responsibility,” Indian Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri told a media briefing.
In response, Pakistan said Islamabad was committed to the ceasefire and blamed India for the violations.
“Our forces are handling the situation with responsibility and restraint,” said its Foreign Ministry.
The ceasefire was announced after four days of cross-border strikes, with US President Donald Trump stating that the United States had brokered the agreement.
Pakistan later confirmed the deal, adding that “three dozen countries” had been involved in the diplomatic efforts.
CNN quoted Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif telling a televised address last night that his forces “made military history” but did not address the allegations of violating the ceasefire.
“In recent days, what the enemy has done was shameful and cowardly. Our brave army in a spectacular fashion made military history,” Sharif said.
“In a few hours, our jets silenced India’s guns in a way that history will not soon forget,” he added.
