Police: Body found in Bangsar is that of missing British man
Kuala Lumpur police chief Rusdi Mohd Isa said the body was identified by the victim's uncle earlier today.

Police have confirmed that the body of a man found at a Bangsar construction site yesterday is of Jordan-Johnson Doyle, a British national who was reported missing since May 27.
Kuala Lumpur police chief Rusdi Mohd Isa said the body was identified by the victim's uncle earlier today.
A post mortem carried out on the body revealed that the victim died of a chest injury due to fall from height.
"About 4.30pm on June 4, police received information about the discovery of a man's body inside an elevator (shaft) in a construction site at Bangsar Hill Park in Kuala Lumpur.
"The victim's body was retrieved by firefighters and taken to the Universiti Malaya Medical Centre's Forensics Department, where a post mortem was carried out today.
"The post-mortem revealed that he had died from chest injury due to a fall from height. No sign of foul play was found at the scene.
"His body was identified by an uncle, who recognised the victim's tattoo," Rusdi said in a statement.
Yesterday, the Kuala Lumpur Fire and Rescue Department was called to assist in retrieving the body of a man found in an elevator shaft of a construction site at Lorong Maarof, Bangsar.
The site was about one kilometre from a bar at Jalan Telawi where the British backpacker was reportedly last seen on May 27.
On May 31, Doyle’s mother Leanne Burnett posted a message on "Missing Persons in Malaysia - Sharing is Caring Facebook Group" seeking assistance to locate him.

Having followed this story in the other Malaysian news portals and British media where it getting press coverage, it's inconceivable that an intelligent IT professional who navigated other Asian countries then went to a quiz night in Bangsar can end up in a construction site lift shaft without foul play. To classify the death as sudden death is ridiculous but symptomatic of a police force who washes their hands of such cases and look no further. The parents now need to exert maximum pressure on the police for answers.
