A PKR leader has launched a digital campaign among party members to reshape Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim’s public image.

PKR Women secretary Sangetha Jayakumar told Malaysiakini that she had sent out WhatsApp messages to PKR party members - which Malaysiakini had also obtained - on a coordinated digital campaign for Anwar, through social media mobilisation.

She also made clear that the campaign is not connected to the government's recent announcement that Malaysians will receive an "extraordinary tribute" soon...
