DAP said it prefers for Parliament to be dissolved at the same time as the state legislative assemblies of Johor, Malacca, and Sarawak.

In his speech at the 2025 Johor DAP convention opening ceremony this morning, party secretary-general Anthony Loke explained that unified polls will cut costs, especially for the Sarawak election.
