SAPP names six candidates for Sabah polls
The Sabah Progressive Party (SAPP) yesterday announced six candidates for the upcoming Sabah state election.
Two SAPP deputy presidents - Edward Dagul and Japiril Suhaimi - were announced as candidates for the Limbahau and Kundasang state seats, respectively.

Two SAPP deputy presidents - Edward Dagul and Japiril Suhaimi - were announced as candidates for the Limbahau and Kundasang state seats, respectively.
SAPP vice-president Gee Tien Siong will contest the Luyang seat, SAPP Youth vice-chairperson Yong Yit Jee in Likas, SAPP Tanjung Papat vice-chairperson Henley Liew in Tanjung Papat, and SAPP young women’s wing chief Yvonne Yong in Segama.
SAPP secretary-general Datuk Richard Yong We Kong in a statement said that the party’s supreme council had unanimously approved the candidates at its meeting today before they were announced by party president Yong Teck Lee at the party headquarters in Kota Kinabalu.
He said three of the six candidates - Yong, Henley, and Yvonne - were contesting for the first time.
The Election Commission has set Nov 15 as nomination day for the Sabah state election, while early voting will be on Nov 25 and polling day on Nov 29.
