Umno politics
Umno and BN are comfortable working with all component parties in the Unity Government as they share common objectives, particularly in serving the interests of the people, said Deputy Prime Minister Ahmad Zahid Hamidi.
The Umno president told Bernama that the ease of cooperation does not indicate complacency, but is instead due to a strong understanding among parties in the government to ensure political polemics do not burden the people.

The BN chairperson added that all parties in government have agreed to set aside differences and political considerations to ensure the effective implementation of every agenda outlined in the 15th general election manifesto.
Zahid also said that 47 percent of the manifestos of parties in government had common elements, thereby forming a strong foundation for existing cooperation.
“Why should we be concerned about differences when we share the same goal?
“In addition, there are detailed issues that we must address. That is why we have the inter-party consultative council, to resolve differences and ensure the manifesto is implemented with a clear purpose,” he told Bernama.

Zahid also stressed that all component parties in the government, including DAP, uphold the four main pillars enshrined in the Federal Constitution.
“They not only respect it but also acknowledge that this is a fact enshrined in the Constitution,” he said.
Bersatu sackings
Ketereh MP Khlir Nor said he is unaffected by Bersatu’s decision to suspend his party membership.
He pointed out that he remains an MP elected under the PAS ticket in GE15.

Ketereh MP Khlir Nor “I am still an MP; I did not contest under the Bersatu ticket,” he told Malaysiakini when contacted today, adding that he has not decided whether to file an appeal.
Yesterday, Malaysiakini reported that Khlir was among five Bersatu MPs suspended from the party for two terms.

Transportation
Rapid KL has introduced the “Ask Me” customer assistance initiative at the Pasar Seni Bus Hub, the first location to implement it, to enhance the public transport experience through faster, clearer, and more accessible information delivery.
Rapid KL said in a statement today that the initiative was introduced to help passengers obtain travel-related assistance more easily, particularly at bus hubs with high commuter traffic and multiple route connections.

According to the bus service operator, a special “Ask Me” podium will be installed at the hub to make it easier for passengers to find assistance.
“Passengers can obtain information on bus routes, stop locations, route changes, travel planning, as well as travel pass products to help facilitate their daily journeys.”
The initiative is part of the Service Ambassador 2.0 Programme, which features Customer Service Assistants and Traffic Coordinators as the main personnel at key hotspots and major transport hubs.
