• The producer of the binned MACC-inspired film “Konspirasi” has denied that there was any external pressure behind the move to pull the movie from cinemas.

  “The decision was made internally by the management and was not for publicity or a marketing strategy,” Elepfilm Entertainment said in a statement today.

  It also called for an end to all speculations about the movie.

Politics

• Former DAP politician Ronnie Liu said he is prepared to issue a public apology if factual evidence is presented disproving his remarks against Selangor Infrastructure and Agriculture exco Izham Hashim over the state's pig farming issue.

  

  At the same time, he also challenged Selangor Amanah to reveal whether it supported or opposed the proposal to ban pig farming during state government exco meetings, and whether it supported efforts to develop modern eco-friendly farming methods.
