The MACC has identified another 1,638 companies suspected of submitting false claims to secure incentives under the Social Security Organisation’s (Socso) Daya Kerjaya 2.0 programme, involving an estimated loss of RM45 million.
MACC chief commissioner Abdul Halim Aman said the investigation is focused on 143 companies that allegedly submitted false claims worth around RM9 million, and will then expand to the remaining firms uncovered through intelligence and investigations.
