• The new Negeri Sembilan menteri besar is expected to take his oath of office today at the Istana Besar Seri Menanti, Bernama reported.

  BN chairperson Ahmad Zahid Hamidi said the coalition has submitted the names of three candidates for Yang di-Pertuan Besar, Tuanku Muhriz Tuanku Munawir’s consideration.

  Speaking to reporters after his audience with the state ruler at Istana Hinggap last night, Zahid did not disclose the names submitted for Tuanku Muhriz’s consideration after the ruler summoned him for an audience, following BN’s win at the state polls.

  

  Taking to Facebook, Zahid said that during the audience, he presented the election results as well as the agreement between BN and Perikatan Nasional.

  The Umno president added that Tuanku Muhriz had consented to the two coalitions forming the next state government.
