SC investigates manipulation, short-selling Of Iris shares
The Securities Commission (SC) confirmed that it is investigating an alleged manipulation and short-selling of Malaysian Exchange of Securities Dealing and Automated Quotation-listed counter, Iris Corporation Bhd.

"Investigations are on-going and witnesses are being called in," a SC spokesperson told Bernama when asked on market talk that seven remisiers of a major stockbroking firm were under probe for the said allegation.
The spokesperson declined to comment on the number of people being investigated and which stockbroking company they were from.
Of late, Iris has seen active trading and Bursa Malaysia has issued several warning statements to investors.
Bursa Malaysia had once imposed restricted trading on the shares but lifted it later.
Iris closed one sen lower Monday at 20.5 sen.
IRIS is a global security solution provider with core expertise in the area of securing government security documents i.e. National ID and Passport.
The company is partly owned by former UN special envoy to Burma, Razali Ismail.
