PAS reappoints pro-Umno leaders
PAS has reappointed into its leadership three pro-Umno leaders who were defeated in its party polls earlier this month.
Mohd Zuhdi Marzuki, Mohd Nik Abduh Nik Abdul Aziz and Khairuddin Aman Razali were made central committee members by appointment.
The trio had advocated for PAS to cooperate with Umno, a position that went against PAS president Abdul Hadi Awang, who wants PAS to stick with Bersatu under the PN banner.
Their appointments were made a day after PAS was wiped out in the Malacca polls while contesting under the PN banner.
PN only won two seats, both of which were picked up by Bersatu.
Malacca Chief Minister Sulaiman Md Ali, who led BN to a two-thirds majority in the state polls, said he will discuss the possibility of involving PN in the state government. BN won 21 out of the 28 State Legislative Assembly seats.

Sabah DAP crisis
Former Sabah DAP chief Jimmy Wong quit the party after several key leaders were defeated in the state party polls.
The veteran leader blasted the new state leadership for playing politics and squeezing out other factions instead of adopting an inclusive approach.
Among the key leaders defeated were Kota Kinabalu MP Chan Foong Hin, Kepayan assemblyperson and state Wanita DAP chief Jannie Lasimbang, former senator Adrian Lasimbang and Elopura assemblyperson Calvin Chong.
The central leadership urged Wong to reconsider his decision but he rejected their appeals.
