Tea on Saddiq's missing funds

Muda president Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman's corruption trial revealed some interesting details regarding RM250,000 that went missing from a safe in 2020.

Syed Saddiq had claimed in public that the funds were his and his parents, and were meant for home renovations.

However, the MACC officer who investigated the case testified that WhatsApp messages allegedly revealed that the monies were actually discretionary funds Saddiq had requested.

The claim it was family money was allegedly concocted in an effort to shape public perception.

The probe on the missing fund led to Syed Saddiq being charged for allegedly misappropriation RM1.12 million from Bersatu Youth - a sum reportedly unrelated to the missing RM250,000.

More ledger-gate denials

Khairy Jamaluddin and Reezal Merican Naina Merican are the latest leaders to have denied receiving funds from Ultra Kirana Sdn Bhd (UKSB).

In Khairy's case, he said he never personally received funds, while, Reezal said he did not even know of UKSB's existence.

PKR closes door on Azmin

PKR's central leadership has resolved not to give Azmin Ali a second chance due to his actions in the Sheraton Move.

This is after Malaysiakini reported that Azmin had met with two PKR officials.

Azmin has not disputed the report, saying that he did not remember if it happened.
