LCS parts warranty expired
Construction of the navy's LCS vessels is taking so long that the warranty expired for some parts before these could be installed.
The Defence Ministry had told the PAC that this could lead to extra costs in order to extend the warranty.
Worse than some parts going out of warranty is that 15 percent of the equipment are now obsolete, according to the PAC’s report.
However, Boustead Naval Shipyard Sdn Bhd CEO Azhar Jumaat said that this was not "entirely accurate", and the equipment was only "in the process" of becoming obsolete.

Bad cops rotation
The Home Ministry denied it was turning Sabah and Sarawak into a dumping ground for bad cops.
Home Minister Hamzah Zainuddin said that police officers and men under investigation for offences are transferred throughout the country.
It is not clear why members of the police force being investigated for offences such as racketeering are transferred and not suspended from active duty.
