Pride and Prejudiced
It is a truth universally acknowledged that a person in possesion of a good fortune, must be in want for a good watch.
However, little known to major brands that on entering the Malaysian market, another truth is so well fixed in the minds of the government, that said watches must adhere to the “rightful” ideology.
Thus it befell that rainbow-themed Swatch watches from its Pride Collection were seized by the Home Ministry because of it association with the LGBT community.
Such are the efforts taken by the government to protect Malaysians from the prism of terror.

A Tale of Two Malaysias
It was the best of governments, it was the worst of governments.
There was a multiracial-multireligious community in West Malaysia; there was a multiracial-multireligious community in East Malaysia.
In both halves it was clearer than crystal to its peoples, that things in general were not the same - as the federal government will only allow non-Muslims to use the word “Allah” in Sabah and Sarawak.
The government will also be amending laws to ensure that the use of the word “Allah” can’t be challenged in court again.

However, Umno president Ahmad Zahid Hamidi assured MCA that the four BN component parties still empower each other, but also have other allied parties now.
