AGC gets tough on Akmal
The Attorney-General's Chambers has defied low expectations and will charge Umno Youth chief Dr Akmal Saleh with "threatening public order".
The charges are over an unspecified Facebook post, likely in relation to his uproar over upside-down flags.
Also to be charged is Bersatu Youth chief Hilman Idham for unspecified comments on TikTok.
Both are to be charged under Section 505(b) of the Penal Code, which is punishable with a fine, jail for up to two years, or both.

Fadhlina moots carrot to 'solve' bullying
Education Minister Fadhlina Sidek has proposed giving schools an incentive if they can ensure zero bullying.
Critics, however, were quick to point out that this will only incentivise schools to cover up bullying incidents.
Home Minister Saifuddin Nasution Ismail denied there was any police cover-up during investigations into the death of Zara Qairina Mahathir.

PN does a Madani
Coalitions within coalitions appear to be the new in-thing for Malaysian politics.
Perikatan Nasional is spearheading a new "loose coalition" that consists of other parties, including Muda, Pejuang, and Urimai.
There are no talks about whether this is an electoral pact yet, but the group plans to champion issues that the Madani government has allegedly dropped the ball on, including reforms and cost of living.
PSM was initially touted as a member, but the party later clarified that it does not have a mandate to join the movement.
