Tens of thousands packed the Panasonic Sports Complex on July 22 to mark the 41st Bon Odori - the largest annual Japanese cultural event in Malaysia.

Central to the event was the Obon dance, a traditional Japanese dance event held every July.

The event was organised by the Japan Club of Kuala Lumpur, the Japanese School of Kuala Lumpur and the Japanese embassy.
