Wesak Day celebration during pandemic

The Wesak Day celebration at the Buddhist Maha Vihara in Brickfields today has been low-key, yet meaningful, due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
According to the standard operating procedure (SOP), only the chief monk and 10 committee members are allowed to attend rituals at houses of worship.
Devotees are excluded from attending and decorated float processions are not permitted.
However, many are holding prayers online.
